Amid the recent repeal of Roe v. Wade, there is tremendous grief, anger, and disappointment flooding the hearts of those affected (all of us). Plants and fungi can be our allies during this time. Through intentional and informed use of plant medicines, we can reclaim our reproductive sovereignty by learning how to give birth, when to give birth (if we feel called to), and how to parent the way we want.
Mikaela de la Myco has made it part of her life’s work to compile existing evidence, anecdotal stories, and ancestral wisdom about the use of plant medicines for contraception, pregnancy, motherhood, and beyond. She helps people with uteruses reclaim choice and guides new moms and parents deep into and through themselves, in the hopes of reconnecting them with their inner healers. In this webinar, she’ll talk about how we can use plant medicines during this time to empower ourselves and others, from contraception to motherhood.

About Mikaela de la Myco
Mikaela de la Myco comes from a multi-cultural, first-generation Italian, Afro-Caribbean, and Indigenous Mexican family who lived in the Los Angeles, unceded Tongva territory.
Her education path has led her down the ways of sacred intimacy work and the temple arts, Indigenous Mexican ceremony, and womb healing facilitation in the Ma’at tradition, all under the care of a colorful variety of teachers and guides.
She now lives in San Diego, occupied Cahuilla and Kumeyaay territory, with her family and friends. In her journey as a mushroom mother, she was called to create virtual and in-person spaces for psychedelic families and birthing people.
Her primary focus in medicine work is to hold community and small group spaces where people can journey through the dark amenta to uncover their ancestor codes, explore and enjoy the body and heal sexual trauma wounds with mushroom medicine while keeping barriers for entry low.
