Tracy L. Barnett is an independent writer and photographer focused on the environment, indigenous rights and travel. She has served as an editor and staff writer at the San Antonio Express-News and the Houston Chronicle, among others, and as a faculty member at the University of Missouri School of Journalism. Her work has appeared in the Washington Post, BBC Travel, National Geographic Traveler, Esquire Latin America and many more.
