Ismail Lourido Ali

Ismail Lourido Ali serves as Policy & Advocacy Counsel for the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), where he supports the development and implementation of strategies to create legal access to psychedelic substances in medical, sacramental, and personal contexts. Given that Ismail Lourido Ali was, in his words, “anti-mainstream” in his youth, he even finds it ironic that he has found himself trying to figure out how this “mainstreaming psychedelics” could actually work with MAPS.
