On February 17, DoubleBlind and I AM LIFE—an independent non-profit medicine music label—will be hosting an intimate evening of live medicine music, cacao, and community building at NAVEL in downtown Los Angeles. The evening is in celebration of the release of “Joy,” the new album by Tony Moss, produced by Jonathan Hakakian. You will be among the first to preview the full album before its official release and get to experience the world premiere of the official “Infinite Colors” music video. Be the first to receive JOY.
With featured performances from stellar artists, including Stanley Clarke, Ksenia Luki, and Fabiano Do Nascimento, the album “Joy” is a contemporary medicine music album that combines elements of shamanism, mysticism, the science of sound healing, and multiple music genres, into a harmonic, psycho-therapeutic, soulful-ceremonial album.
The intention of the evening is to provide a safe space for members of the DoubleBlind and I AM LIFE communities to gather with old friends—and make new ones. The space will be set up with pillows, blankets, cacao, and offerings from both DoubleBlind and I AM LIFE’s community members. We invite you to come as you are—on your own for the music and to make new connections—or with loved ones. It should be a beautiful evening, and we look forward to meeting you there.

The event starts at 6:30pm and ends at 10:30pm.
Will there be psychedelics at the event?
We will only be serving legal psychoactives at the event such as kanna, cacao, kratom, and kava. These are potent medicines for journeying which can lead to profound, transformative experiences and this will be a safe space, but we ask that you do not choose to take a macrodose of a classic psychedelic such as shrooms or LSD at the event as we will not have the capacity to support people through longer journeys.
What’s the deal with parking?
There’s a lot nearby with plenty of parking. We’ll send the info ahead of time, but, if you can, taking an Uber or Lyft will be more convenient.
What’s your COVID policy?
This is an indoor event. We ask that you stay at-home and/ or take a test if there’s any chance that you’ve recently been exposed to COVID.
Can I bring my dog and/ or kids?
Sorry, no doggies at this one, but kiddos are totally allowed.
What’s your refund and transfer policy?
Sorry, but we don’t have the Customer Service capacity to handle refunds and transfers. All ticket sales for this event are final.
Will there be tickets available at the door?
We anticipate selling out ahead of time, so there’s no guarantees you’ll get in if you show up at the door. If that changes, we will make an announcement via email and on our Instagram.
