Kate Belew

Kate Belew is a Brooklyn based Writer, Poet, Witch, Storyteller, and Strategist. Her work spans genres and spaces: poetry, nonprofits, immersive theatre, health & wellness, witchcraft, the occult, herbalism, and the psychedelic. She is interested in helping others craft their content, tell their stories, and connect with their innate creative power as well as spinning her own kinds of tales. She is a co-host on Magick & Alchemy, a podcast about witchcraft, ritual, and folklore by Tamed Wild. She is a regular contributor to Tamed Wild's blog. She has a monthly column on Sun Potion's Journal on intuition and writing. She has also written for The Alchemist's Kitchen, Lucid News, Reality Sandwich, and Sabat Magazine among others. She is a cast member of The Poetry Brothel NYC. She is also an editor and facilitator at The Poetry Society of New York's Milk Press Books. She is the creator of Pandemic Poems. She has an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College in Poetry and is currently a student of the plants at Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine as well as an apprentice beginning in 2021 to Robin Rose Bennett.
