If you are journeying for healing or growth, preparation can make all of the difference. In the psychedelic community, we often talk about journaling, meditation, and setting an intention as important practices. But we don’t often talk about how essential it is to prepare our bodies for this experience, too. Some folks fast prior to a psilocybin experience, for example, while it’s common to go on a “dieta,” a special diet prior to ayahuasca. Energies such as caffeine and alcohol as well as the intentional use of herbs such as chamomile, ashwaganda, and skullcap in the days leading up to a trip can drastically change how open your body is to receiving the medicine. In this webinar, we talk about prepping your body before the journey to get the most you can out of the experience. As always, there will be time for questions from our community at the end.
