The release of Issue 6 happens at the three year anniversary of founding DoubleBlind. As such, our most recent print edition plays with the tension between new and old. In it, we look at the untold history of psychedelics in Africa and the role of women behind the Sixties psychedelic revolution—as well as the benefits of psychedelic prohibition and tripping “mindlessly,” without the pomp and circumstance of premeditation. As is our mission, we use psychedelics as a jumping off point to explore mental health, policy, science, spirituality, nature, and more. Whether you’ve been following DoubleBlind from its genesis, or you’ve recently hopped on board, we hope you’ve enjoyed the ride with us as much as we’ve enjoyed serving our community with content that we hope will shift perspectives and push the culture forward.
Never miss an issue again
We started DoubleBlind two years ago at a time when even the largest magazines and media companies were cutting staff and going out of business. At the time we made a commitment: we will never have a paywall, we will never rely on advertisers we don’t believe in to fund our reporting, and we will always be accessible via email and social media to support people for free on their journeys with plant medicines.
To help us do this, if you feel called and can afford it, we ask you to consider becoming a monthly member and supporting our work. In exchange, you'll receive a subscription to our print magazine, monthly calls with leading psychedelic experts, access to our psychedelic community, and much more.
