I Am Life x DoubleBlind Present JOY

I AM LIFE X DOUBLEBLIND PRESENT:
JOY
An intimate evening of medicine music in celebration of Tony Moss’ new album
February 17, 2024
6:30—10:30pm

On February 17, DoubleBlind and I AM LIFE—an independent non-profit medicine music label—will be hosting an intimate evening of live medicine music, cacao, and community building at NAVEL in downtown Los Angeles. The evening is in celebration of the release of “Joy,” the new album by Tony Moss, produced by Jonathan Hakakian. You will be among the first to preview the full album before its official release and get to experience the world premiere of the official “Infinite Colors” music video. Be the first to receive JOY.

With featured performances from stellar artists, including Stanley Clarke, Ksenia Luki, and Fabiano Do Nascimento, the album “Joy” is a contemporary medicine music album that combines elements of shamanism, mysticism, the science of sound healing, and multiple music genres, into a harmonic, psycho-therapeutic, soulful-ceremonial album.

The intention of the evening is to provide a safe space for members of the DoubleBlind and I AM LIFE communities to gather with old friends—and make new ones. The space will be set up with pillows, blankets, cacao, and offerings from both DoubleBlind and I AM LIFE’s community members. We invite you to come as you are—on your own for the music and to make new connections—or with loved ones. It should be a beautiful evening, and we look forward to meeting you there.

Plant Medicine Marketplace

Spend some time exploring the many offerings brought by community friends and partners. There will be opportunities for you to learn about and discover some potent legal psychoactives such as kanna, cacao, kratom, and kava.

Cacao

Ceremonial cacao

Cacao will be served to guests while listening to Tony Moss' new album JOY. Fun fact: Cacao also contains compounds that may have similar actions to those found in cannabis, but without the high.

Album Listening

There will be a dedicated hour where you will be able to listen to Tony Moss' new album JOY in its entirety. Headphones will be available for focused listening.

Community Building

There is nothing more powerful than being in community together. We are so excited to invite you into this safe space to reunite with old friends or make new friends.
